Unfortunately, no. Since cannabis is not legal in Pennsylvania for adult use, but only medically, only PA residents with a medical marijuana card can purchase from a PA dispensary. In order to be considered eligible as a medical marijuana patient in Pennsylvania, one of the requirements is that you must have a Pennsylvania driver’s license or an ID card issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. If you have designated a caregiver to purchase or pick up cannabis for you, the caregiver must be a PA resident too. Yes, to purchase cannabis under Pennsylvania law, we are required to ensure that patrons are 21+ and have valid state-issued identification (driver’s license, passport, state ID, etc.). The only people who are allowed in a dispensary without a medical or caregiver card are children under the age of 18 who are accompanied by an adult with a valid medical card, and of course the children can’t make any purchases.

The amount of cannabis a medical marijuana patient or caregiver could purchase had been one-month’s supply, though recently the Governor signed a law upping the amount to a three-month supply.
