Pennsylvania offers medical cannabis only. The Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program was signed into law on April 17, 2016, allowing individuals diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition to legally purchase and consume medical cannabis. To visit a dispensary, patients must hold a valid Pennsylvania medical marijuana ID card, obtained through the Pennsylvania Department of Health after receiving certification from a registered physician.
